Daryl Q. Schofield, Sr.

Daryl Q. Schofield, Sr. is a respected Funeral Director and Business Leader with a passion for serving families with dignity and compassion. In 2010, he established Unity Memorial Funeral Home East, Inc., a Family-Owned Funeral Service provider committed to offering professional and respectful services during times of bereavement. Under his leadership, Unity Memorial Funeral Home East has earned a reputation for excellence, ensuring that every family receives the highest level of care and support.

Mr. Schofield is a graduate of Gupton-Jones College of Funeral Service, Daryl excelled both academically and as a student leader, serving as class president and earning membership in Phi Sigma Eta Honor Fraternity, an esteemed recognition of excellence in the mortuary profession.

His dedication to the Funeral Service industry extends beyond his business, as he actively contributes to professional organizations that uphold the highest standards in Mortuary Science and Funeral Services. He is a member of the National Funeral Directors and Morticians Association, the Florida Mortician Association, and the Epsilon Nu Delta Mortuary Fraternity, further demonstrating his commitment to continuous learning, professional development, and service to the community.

Through his unwavering dedication to integrity, professionalism, and compassionate care, Daryl Q. Schofield, Sr. remains a pillar in the funeral service industry, ensuring that every family he serves is met with kindness, respect, and the highest level of support during their most difficult times.


Joni M. Schofield

Vice-President & CFO

Mrs. Joni M. Schofield is a distinguished educator, leader, and community advocate with a lifelong commitment to academic excellence and service. A proud graduate of Bethune-Cookman College, she holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Psychology and Hospitality Management. Demonstrating her passion for education and leadership, she furthered her studies by earning a Master of Science in Psychology and Counseling and later achieved an Education Specialist (EdS) degree in Educational Leadership.

Mrs. Schofield is an esteemed member of several prestigious organizations that reflect her dedication to scholarship, mentorship, and service. She is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., where she upholds the values of sisterhood, scholarship, and service to all mankind. Her commitment to education is also evident through her membership in the National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa, Inc., an organization devoted to the professional development of educators and the advancement of youth.

Additionally, Mrs. Schofield is actively involved in several civic and fraternal organizations, including the Order of the Eastern Star, the Al Shiah Grand Council of the Ancient Arabic Order of Daughters of Sphinx, and the Florida Mortician Association Ladies Auxiliary. She also serves as a member of the National Notary Association, further showcasing her diverse expertise and community engagement.

With a strong passion for leadership, mentorship, and service, Mrs. Schofield continues to impact her community through her  steadfast  dedication to excellence in education, advocacy, and professional development.
