Willie Jackson

Willie James Jackson, Mount Dora, Florida, was called to eternal rest on Monday, April 25, 2022, at the age of 62. He was born in Mount Dora, Florida to Willie Vera Harris and the late late James Harris.  He attended school in Mount Dora, where he graduated from Mt Dora High School in 1977. In his early childhood life he accepted Christ and joined St Mary Missionary Baptist Church, Mt Dora FL.  Later in his adult life he moved and resided in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania before relocating back to his hometown in Lake County Florida.

Willie leaves to mourn and cherish his fonds memories a loving wife of six (6) years, Barbara Ann Jackson, Mount Dora, FL;  Three step-sons: Cornelius (Cuita carter) Snead, Eustis, Fl; Ray Smith, Leesburg, Fl; Allen (Danielle) Snead, Altoona Fl; One step-daughter: Betty Jackson, Eustis FL.; three-granddaughters: Yanna Wallace, Niya Mosley, London Jackson and Samatha Hines; Two grandsons: Malakai and Malik Snead;  his loving Mother, Willie Vera Harris, Mt Dora, Fl;  Five (5) sisters: Jessie M. Williams, Estelle (Kenny) Tumer, Mt Dora, FL; Mary Harris, Eustis, FL.; Diane (Henry) Weatherspoon, and Dorothy Solomon, both of Umatilla, FL..; One brother: Albert L. Harris, Umatilla, FL; Nieces: Alicia Williams, Shontrell Hudson, Sheena Scott, Shauntae Weatherspoon, Lottie Woodbury, Andria Williams, Analexis Woodruff, Ericka (Arthur) Cheek-Mitchell, Riana S. White,  Brittany Harris and Shatevia Young.  Nephews: Andre (Tiffany) Harris,  Arrion S. Williams, Andrew Woodruff,  John (Tychia) Woodbury, Trevail Smith, James Ford, Henry (Vanessa) Pettigrew, Henry Weatherspoon III, Albert Harris Jr., Keona Hutchins, Deion Pettigrew. He leaves to mourn a host of great-nieces and nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends. He is preceded in death by his father, James R. Harris; brother, Andrew “Shep” Williams; and nephew, Tevin L. Williams.
