Wendy Hicks-Stafford

Wendy Hicks-Stafford, “Wustry”, was born April
12, 1963, in San Fernando, Trinidad, to parents, Monica
Hicks Cross and David Pemberton, where she attended
Naparima All Girls High School.
Before immigrating to the US in 1989, Wendy married
her husband Brian J. Stafford. She laid down her roots
in Queens, NY, where she worked as a home health aide,
and was avid in her spiritual Baptist faith. She lived in
Apopka, FL.
Wendy leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, Brian
J. Stafford; children, Nekeisha, Nicholas, Nicholette, and
Nolan Staford; her daughter-in-law, Tracie-Ann Jackson
Stafford; grandchildren, Amayah, Aliyah, Ashanti, and
Aubree’ Stafford; mother, Monica Hicks Cross; father,
David Pemberton, Sr.; brothers, Andre Botas, Andrew
Botas, Michael Hicks, Ricardo Hicks, David Pemberton,
Jr., Russell Pemberton, and Darin Pemberton; sisters,
Adana Bird, Ria Pemberton, and Petronilla Pemberton;
aunts, Sybil George, Pearl Clemons, and Emma Hicks;
cousins, Carla Benson and Dondre’ Benson; nieces,
Chandelle, Michelle, Gabriella, Mikayla, De’Andra,
