Vontressa Johnson Obituary

WAKE PRIVATE- FAMILY ONLY

Reflection of Life
Vontressa Lajoyce Johnson was born August 4, 1981, to
Mrs. Melanie Johnson-St. Jean and Mr. Reginald Earl Johnson, Sr.
in Orlando, Florida. She grew up in Washington Shores and spent
most of her adult life in Orlando. She relocated to Gainesville,
Florida in 2011 but returned home in 2016. She finally settled
down in Kissimmee, Florida, with her children.
“Tressa”, as she was affectionately called, worked various jobs in the
food service and hospitality industries. Throughout her working
career, Tressa gained valuable skills that would lend themselves to
helping her become a successful entrepreneur. Her love of fashion,
eye catching style, and independent nature made launching and
managing her thriving online clothing boutique called “Mother of
7” a perfect fit.
There was nothing ordinary about Tressa. She had a zest for life
and was always seen with a smile on her face. She was also spirited
and resilient and never backed down from a challenge. Tressa
fought the good fight of faith until the Lord called her home on
Monday, April 25, 2022.
Tressa was bold, vivacious, outgoing, passionate, and strong. She
was a devoted mother, loving daughter, protective sister, out spoken
niece, and loyal friend. Tressa was well known and well loved and
will be greatly missed by many.
She was survived by her mother, Melanie Johnson-St. Jean
(Kenneth); father, Reginald Johnson, Sr. (Chonda); children,
