Thomas Sims

Thomas L Sims was born March 16, 1952, to the late Pecola and Luvenia Sims. He resided and attended Williston High School. Thomas relocated to Orlando where he met and married Mary Carol. They both became lifelong residents of Pine Hills where they raised their family. They raised them on values based on faith, respect and love. Thomas worked as a forklift operator where he worked over 30 + year before he retired. After retirement, Thomas enjoyed the fruits of his labor and his community. Thomas was a member of Faith in Christ by GOD in Apopka, FL.

He was preceded in death by parents Pecola and Luvenia Sims. 9 siblings Alphonso Sims, Azalee Presley, Clara Lucky, Eula Taylor, Gregory Sims, Mace Duncan, Mary Johnson, Vera Sams and Peggy Ann Sims.

Thomas was survived by his children: Lorenzo Sims, Thomas Sims Jr, Lawanda Sims, Travis Sims and Laricco Sims. Grandchildren: Thomas Sims Jr III, Sasha Bosket, Tramone Sims, Malik Sims, Omar Sims, Deja Denmark, Destiny McCree and Tiana Sims. Great-Grandchildren: Taniyah Sims, Bently Daly, Keimelo Bosket, Kody Sims, Amir Sims, Nadia Sims, Humble Sims, Sylas Sims and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
