Obituary
Susie Perry was born on March 29, 1934 in Ashburn, GA to the late
Ella Gamble and the late Charlie Hill. She graduated from Turner
County High School. Susie married the love of her life, Robert
Perry. They were married for 62 years.
Susie worked in the hotel industry for 35 years as a supervisor
until retirement in 2001. She then joined St. John Missionary
Baptist Church in 2012, where she became a faithful member
until her demise on November 6, 2024. she loved the Lord and
her church. Our Mother/Grandmother was a very loving person.
She was a fashionable person. She loved to shop, eating out with
her family, and dancing. She loved us so much. Everything we did
she was willing and ready. She was an outstanding cook where
her cooking translated into countless gatherings of family and
friends.
Susie was preceded in death by her Husband, Robert Perry; Betty
McCree (Daughter), Cecilia Hardy (Daughter), 2 Sons: Herbert Lee
Morris AND Jimmy Lee Morris.
She is survived by her Daughters: Sandra A. Grey (Frank), Katie R.
Bostick (Leroy), Linda A. Bruce (Jones), Thadine Burns (Leonard),
and Angela Graham (Goddaughter); 18 grand-children, 39 great
grandchildren, 20 great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces,
nephews and sorrowing friends
