Richard L Gunn

Mr. Richard Lee Gunn was born on April 27, 1944, to proud and loving parents Preston and Sallie M.Gunn.

 He was a lifelong resident of Apopka, FL, where he attended the local schools. At a young age, Richard realized that he valued his relationship with God and was baptized at the Apostolic Church Of Jesus. He loved the outdoors leading him to worked at Armstrong Tree and Trimming for many years. Richard was known for being a kind and loving person. He played a huge role in his siblings' lives as well as in his community. With a multitude of family and dear friends, he enjoyed playing sports. On Wednesday, February 10, 2021, Richard answered the call from the Lord after years of sickness. Richards's life was truly a reflection of the love that he had for everyone. To his family and friends, he was a devoted Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Brother. He will be truly missed.

Richard was proceeded in death by his Loving Wife: Evelyn Harris; his Parents: Preston and Sallie M. Gunn; Three Sisters: Doris Hardnett, Patricia Thomas( Gladwyn), Carol M. Wiggins and Brother: Robert  Simmons.

Richard leaves to cherish loving and precious memories to his Four Daughters: Ura Collins(Rawn),  Juanita Jones, Henrietta Jones, Earnestine Swift; One Son: Curtis Jones; Grandchildren: Edmund Gregory, Lasheena Tyler, Armando Tyler, Cherita Jones, Alonzo Jones, Ervin Jones, LaQuanda Davis, James Bryant, Alicia Jones, Kim Jones; 19 Great Grandchildren; Sister-in-law: Evangalist Betty Doward (Alvin); Nine Sisters: Rose Haynes (Henry, deceased), Mary Scott(Harold, deceased), Mozzell Hedgepeth (Dwayne), Linda Gunn, Dolores McMiller (Theodis),       Deborah Gibson (Roosevelt), Orstella Lewis, Deanna Fields (Tony),  Antionette Hardwick (Eric), Tabitha Howard (Gary); Seven Brothers: Marion Gunn (Doris), Preston Isaiah Gunn, Jerome Gunn (Joni), Jeffery Gunn, Tommy Lee Williams, Ivory Lewis (Tabitha), Carl Lewis; A Very Special and Favorite Niece: Sophia Bascom; and A host of other          Sorrowing  Family and Grieving Friends who will miss him dearly.
