Pierre leaves to cherish his memories his parents Robert and Kathy Lawrence, aunts and uncles: Sharean (Council) Lawrence, Benjamin (Joan) Shorts, Kenneth (Tina) Shorts, Barbara (Robert) Gillard, Colleen Shorts, Hattie B. Lawrence-Scott, Julia Lawrence, Wandea (Wallace) Clark, Lee Roy (Zenobia) Lawrence, James (Lori) Lawrence, Teresa (Derrick) Welch, and a host of cousins and dear friends.
Pierre John Lawrence was born in West Palm Beach FL, he was a blessing to his parents Robert and Kathy Lawrence. Pierre attended elementary school in Leesburg FL, and he graduated from Tavares High School. After high school Pierre joined the military, he chose to enlist into the United States Army and served 5 years. During his enlistment he served in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was honorably discharged with the rank of Seargent. Upon returning home he resided in Winter Park FL, was hired at FedEx where he has been employed the last 19 years.
Pierre loved his mom’s meatloaf and red velvet cake which was prepared for him at his request every year on his birthday. He fancied himself to be a good cook, but some of his creations would make you think twice about eating it.
Pierre loved his friends especially Dan and Barrington, he loved all of his coworkers at FedEx, and his coworkers at FedEx loved him. Dave described Pierre as “a beast”, he was not afraid of hard work. He will be greatly missed by everyone at FedEx.
Pierre loved all of his aunts, uncles and cousins, family was very important to him. He was often referred to by his aunts as “P,” his Aunt Sharean called him “P-love.”
Everyone who met Pierre loved him, his personality, dry humor, and especially his “rants” on Facebook. Pierre will be greatly missed, but we rejoice in the knowledge that he has gone home to be with our Heavenly Father.
