Michelle K. Perry-Mincey
Michelle was born in Orlando, Florida, on January 13, 1973, to the late James Perry and Shirley Perry Williford. Preceding her in death is her father, James Perry, and brother, Alphonso Perry.
Michelle, affectionately known as “Tina,” was raised in Kissimmee, where she attended public schools and was a graduate of Gateway High School, class of 1992.
She was the world’s greatest auntie, best babysitter, and riding partner. She loved to sing and listen to her favorite gospel artist with her childhood friend, Jerimiah Holliman. Her favorite pastime was crossword puzzles and putting puzzles together. She gave her life to Christ at a young age and never stopped serving as her health would allow.
Michelle met and married Lorenzo Mincey, Jr., in May of 2013. God blessed their union for several years, until her health began to fail her. After a lengthy battle with her illness, God called Michelle home and she will be greatly missed.
She leaves to cherish her memories: mother, Shirley Perry Williford; one brother, Rodney Cobbs of Kissimmee, Florida; aunts, Joann Butler of St. Cloud, Florida, and Martha Bell (Leonard) of Kissimmee, Florida; uncles, Ralph King of Kissimmee, Florida, and Thurmes King (Jackie) of Fort Myers, Florida; extended family, Shawn McFadden and Kevin McFadden; great-uncles, Collin Hardee (Shirley) of Auburndale, Florida, Leroy King (Cleo), Thaddeus Lattimore (Daisy) of Kissimmee, Florida, and Jetty King (Emma) of Kissimmee, Florida; niece, Raquel Cobb; nephew, Dre Cobb; godmothers, Apostle Barbara Robbins of Charleston, South Carolina, and Evangelist Mae Williams of Lakeland, Florida; godsister, Faye Holmes (Tony) of Charleston, SC; godbrothers, Lamar Wilkerson (Florence) of Kissimmee, Florida, and Jerimiah Holliman of Orlando, Florida; godson, Michael Scott; and her best friend, Monica Scott of Kissimmee, Florida.
Michelle was loved by many and will be greatly missed by a host of other relatives and friends.
