Marquis Sheraud Woods was born on September 10, 1972, to Venetia Woods and the late Michael White in Orlando, Florida. He attended public school and Pine Hills Christian Academy. He worked in various fields of employment until his demise.
Marquis accepted the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ receiving salvation and was baptized November 30, 1986 at the age of fourteen. He was a
member of First Baptist Church of Pine Hills before moving to Daytona Beach Florida. Suddenly, his health started to fail on his birthday, September 10, 2022, until the Lord called him home.
Marquis was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Martha Armstrong; grandfather, Malachi Woods; maternal grandfather, Ernest Blake; paternal
grandmother, Eula Mae White; and father, Michael White.
He leaves to celebrate his life: his mother, Venetia Bennett; son, Marcus Reed; sisters, Shayla Burnette, Leneka Robinson-Moore (Zeric), and
Latasha Wesley; brothers, Chanté Wright (Siobhan), Omar Robinson, Craig White (Erika), and Willie Black; uncles, Rodney Woods, Darnell
White (Rosa), Stanley White, and Barry White; aunt, Jarcelyn White; granddaughters, Zamiyah Reed, Zytasia, Zaniyah, Kallyah, and Amya;
grandson, Sincere; nieces, Jessica Robinson, Sierra Robinson, and Cheryl Robinson; nephews, Jarmon Wright, Jerrell Robinson, Seth Robinson,
and Sidiq Robinson; and treasured friends, Traci Nesman, Rashell Hill, Anthony Peterson, Joy Williams (Roy), Jimmy Warren, Hattie Tukes,
Pat Tukes, and Gary Myers. Marquis will be missed dearly by a host of cousins and beloved family members.
