Margaret C. Simmons was born on August 19, 1942, in Sanford, Florida, to Roosevelt Cason and Linnie Jordan.
A Time To Share
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Roosevelt Cason and Linnie Jordan; her husband, Samuel Simmons; her son, Michael Ruiz; and her daughter, Tswanda Carmichael.
In her spare time, Margaret cherished moments with her family and friends, and found joy in watching Westerns and her favorite show, "Little House on the Praire".
She never had a problem putting people in their place at any given time—"she meant what she said and said what she meant".
A Time To Love
She is survived by her loving children, son, Rev. Jonathan F. (Glendelle) Carmichael, Sr., and three daughters, Angela (Donald) Graham, Berrella Sanders, and LaQuanda Carmichael; 12 grandchildren, Michael, Trentyn, Ajani, Cerenity, Rassie, Jonathan, Joneisha, Jonathan F. Carmichael, ll, Sonya, Robert, Donnita, and Marquita (Hoyt) Harper ; eight great-grands, Ty’Kievious, Ty’Kia, Tysen, Jaylon, Aubrey, Alivia, Vincent, and Frank; brother, Alvin; two sisters-inlaw, Rose and Mildred; goddaughter, Rutha (Robert) Wright; godson, Daryl (Joni) Schofield; and a host of nieces, nephews, and sorrowing friends.
