Mackie Davis

Mr. Mackie Davis, Sr. was born on September 7, 1936, to the late Edna James and Laura Davis, in Blacksville, SC.

Mr. Davis relocated to Belle Glade, FL with his mother and became an insurance man in his older years.  After doing insurance for about 25 years he then started his own business. In later years, He relocated to Orlando and worked Security until he retired. He was united in Holy matrimony on April 12, 1997, to Mattie B Davis in Orlando, FL. Mackie highest grade completed was the 8th grade, but he was a very smart and intelligent man. Mackie got his wings the early morning of September 13, 2020, in Orlando, FL. Mackie served as a Deacon in Belle Glade at New Bethel Baptist, then when he relocated to Orlando he served as a Deacon and Sunday School Teacher at Agape Assembly Baptist Church.

Mackie leaves to cherish loving and precious memories to his Loving Wife: Mattie B;  Ten Children: Beverly Baqueed of Orlando, FL, Terri (Marvin) Smith of Orlando, Fl, Mackie, Jr (Sherry) of Port St Lucie, FL, Angela of Orlando, FL, Mackie, III (Tonya) of MS, Shirley White (Wesley), Macquell of Belle Glade, FL, Sheena of West Palm Beach, FL, Shandy of Orlando, FL, Mackeria (Miquel) of Orlando, FL, and Marcus of Belle Glade, FL; One Sibling:  Johnnie R (Alvin) Smith of Belle Glade, FL; Two Special Church Daughters: Dana Williams (Matthew), Tarateshia Harris (Terrance) both of Orlando, FL;  Thirty-Six Grandchildren; Twenty Great Grandchildren; Two Great-Great Grandchildren; and a host of Nieces,  Nephews, Cousins, Church Family, and other Sorrowing Family and Grieving Friends who will miss him dearly.
