Lorraine Devora Walker Smith was born on February 10, 1933, to the late Linton Nebraska Walker and Mae Ola Demps White. Lorraine married Claude R Smith in 1957 until his death in 1987. She was a lifelong member of Mt. Olive AME Church. She was recently recognized as one of the oldest living members of Mt Olive AME Church. Lorraine also helped in the kitchen with her late cousin Jessie B Smith. Lorraine was known for her collard greens that she loved to cook.

Lorraine enjoyed watching western and game shows. Her favorite past-time was shopping as well as going out to eat at different restaurants and traveling. Red Lobster was her favorite place to go. Shrimp was her favorite food. On Friday June 5, 2026, our Heavenly Father called his beloved child home to rest.

 She is proceeded in death by her husband Claude R. Smith, two sons, Donald L. Walker, Jerry A. Walker, one grandson Jason A Holland, her only beloved sister Marilyn Walker Ware, two sons-in-law David Haskins and Ronald Holland and one nephew Jonnie Ware.

She leaves two cherish her memories: Her two daughters Joyce Elaine Nipper and Gay Wendy Holland both of Orlando Fl. Three granddaughters Lyschelle Holland Jacksonville Fl, Ebonii and Dontria Walker Atlanta Ga. Three grandsons, Jermel Walker, Lintrell Nipper Sr, and Jordan Usher of Orlando Fl.

Three great granddaughters Tatiyanna Walker Hollywood Fl, Xaniyah Wyatt, Lin’Asia Nipper Orlando Fl. Two great grandsons Lintrell Nipper Jr and Cayden Hamilton Orlando Fl. Two great great grands Isaiah and Lillianna Joseph Hollywood Fl. Two daughters-in-law Rosetta Walker and Sharon Walker, Orlando Fl. One niece Beverly Ware Atkins (CE), Two nephews Robert Ware (Karen), James (Butchie) Ware Orlando Fl. Three great nephews Robert (RJ) Ware (Odetta) of Fort Lauderdale Fl. Randy Daniels (Kim), Devon Atkins (Zaniah) Orlando. Cherished cousins Charles (Chucky) White Jr Orlando Fl Daren Hanny Coleman Clearwater Fl and Shirley Rushing (Rob) Kennesaw Ga, Esther Nuckles Waukee Iowa. A host of other loving relatives and friends.
