Leslie Sanders

Lesley Lorraine Sanders was born in Kansas City, Kansas on May 7, 1971 to Mattie L. Sanders and Clennon Johnson.

Lesley graduated from F. L. Schlagle High School and completed her graduate degree from Friend’s University.  Lesley loved fashion and interior design. She had an eye for beauty and would utilize her gift to serve others, creating beautiful spaces for friends, family, and churches. She was a beautiful soul, with a deep love for her family and friends. Lesley was a devoted, unwavering, unapologetic disciple of Christ. She immersed herself in the word of God and took every opportunity to grow in spiritual knowledge and understanding. She had a fire for God and a faith that was unshakeable.  She walked wholeheartedly with the Lord until she was called to be with him on January 14, 2022.

Lesley is preceded in death by her beloved mother Mattie L. Sanders and brother Sean D. Johnson.

Lesley leaves to cherish her memory her Father: Clennon Johnson (Faye) of Kansas City, Kansas; Emmanuel J. Sanders of Kansas City, Missouri,  Natanja P. Johnson of Houston, Texas, Bridget Shackelford (Elijah) of Kansas City, Kansas; and a host of  Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews,  Family, and Friends who will miss her dearly.
