Obituary

Lenworth Roy McKenzie Sr., was a telecommunications engineer of Orlando, FL, died on April 2, 2023, at the age of 72 at the Orlando Regional Hospital.

Lenworth is survived by his wife, Lorna McKenzie (nee Bailey); and children, Dwight, Vaughn, Dwayne, Alison, Lenworth Jr., and Hailey.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Imogene McKenzie; two brothers, George and Con; and daughter, Marcia.

Lenworth was born in St. Ann, Jamaica, on December 26, 1950, to Thomas and Imogene McKenzie. He graduated from the College of Arts, Science and Technology (CAST) in the year 1970 with a degree in Computer Engineering and worked the Jamaica Telephone Company as a telephone technician. He later married Lorna with whom he welcomed his four sons, Dwight, Vaughn, Dwayne, and Lenworth Jr.

Lenworth was a devoted father and avid sports and international affairs enthusiast. He enjoyed going to the beach and cooking. He was crazy about his children and grandchildren.

He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him.
