Mrs. LaTasha Denise Stokes Alexander was born November 15, 1975, in Orlando Florida. She is the daughter of Allen and Johnnie Mae Stokes.
LaTasha accepted Christ at a very young age and was baptized at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Eatonville, Florida. LaTasha graduated from Lyman High School in 1993. She attended Tallahassee Community College where she satisfied and expanded her knowledge and skills of computers and technology. LaTasha had a passion for people in that she enjoyed encouraging others. She enjoyed helping and teaching others about computers and technology. Her favorite pastimes were fishing, swimming, crafting, using her creative skills of art, and spending time with family. Latasha’s favorite scripture was Jeremiah 29:11; her favorite song is “Release” by John P Key. LaTasha was employed by the Florida Department of Education; she worked as an administrative assistant in Tallahassee.
She is preceded in death by her oldest sister, Donya Lynette Stokes.
LaTasha leaves to cherish her precious memories: her Husband: Kelverick Alexander; Parents: Allen and Johnnie Mae Stokes; Daughters: Imani Zeigler (Charles), and Icess Alexander; Son: T’Jadis Alexander (Seni); Sister, Kimberly Stokes-Raines (Roderick); Grandchildren: Charm Zeigler, Andre Alexander, Weston Alexander, Avery Alexander; Nieces and Nephews: Kar’daja Rither, Roderick Raines, Jr, David Williams, Michelle Sanders, Michael Sanders, Ja’Quan Sanders, Te’Ardre Sanders, Celeste Sanders, Ja’Leah Sanders; God Parents: Zachary and Patrice Richards; God Sister: E. Laverne Williams; and a host of great nieces, nephews, aunts and uncle; and a host of awesomely amazing family and friends; and her special companion and sidekick, Teddy, her Cocker Spaniel all who will truly miss her dearly.
