Kirkland Orlando Myers known as "Sashin" returned to his heavenly home on April 4th, 2020. His devotion to his family, county, and philosophy strengthen him on his journey to becoming the light that shines through the world's darkest time. As Kirkland ascends to the pearly gates he leaves behind his beloved family, friends and those lucky enough to be submerged in his ever-shining light and energy. Kirkland was born on the cool tropical island of St. Catherine Jamaica on March 31st, 1999. Kirkland "Sashin" was one of 8 siblings. During his early childhood, Kirkland was constantly surrounded by family who loved, supported, and cared for him. This strong foundation instilled great values into Kirkland that created the dependent, humble and jovial young man we all knew and love. Spending most of his life in Jamaica, 5 years ago Kirkland moved to the United States to live with his father Kuerke Myers and Bonus mother Brendaly Myers to spread his wings and sore to new opportunities that God had in store for him. Kirkland enjoyed his own company. He used his moment of stillness to channel his energy and collect his thoughts in this evolving world, he listened to old school reggae and created beautiful artwork in his spare time. Kirkland has brought us together today not to mourn his home going but, celebrate his life as the constant energy that will forever live on within every one of us today. So, this is not goodbye Kirkland "Sashin" but a see toy later until God brings us together again. We love you Kirkland, Rest Easy Sashin.
