Ms. Katie Mae Ellison Blount was born December 13, 1950, to the Late Itretria Bullock and Robert Sumlin. She was
married to her husband, Robert Blount, and is preceded in death by Venessa Ellison.
She is survived by: one daughter, Rochelle Blount, of Georgia; three sons, Arthur “Vevelyn” Robinson, of Apopka, Prentiness
“Tracy” House Blount, Sr. of Sebring, Florida, and SylvesterJones, Sr.; two daughters-in-law, Jamie Collier, of Apopka
and Kim Malcolm, of Georgia; 47 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Irma Howard of Georgia; three brothers, Johnny ‘Alberta’ Ellison, of Florida, Horace ‘Louvern’ Bullock,
of Georgia, Jerome Sumlin, of Georgia; devoted best friend of 70 years, Evella Simmons; devoted goddaughter, Yolonda
Jackson; extended family, The Gardners Family; a special caring cousin, Tammy Perkins; and a special caring niece, Tammy
Jackson. Katie will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, and sorrowing friends.
