Mr. Junior Anthony Gordon affectionately called Peter and was born on July 24, 1967, at Savanna-lar-mar Hospital in Westmoreland, Jamaica. He is the 2nd of three children for Alfred and Juliet Gordon.
As a child Junior attended Sister Fox Basic School and from there he went on to Savanna-lar-mar Infant School. He also attended Sir Clifford Campbell Primary where he passed Common Entrance examination to Manning High School. While at Manning, Junior developed his technical skills and his love for nature.
Some of Junior’s hobbies were collecting stamps, coins and sports but is all time favorite was Soccer. You couldn’t pull him away from the Television when his team Chelsea Unity was playing. How could I forget to mention his loved for music, so much to the point where if you were to use him as a DJ, I don’t think anyone of us would leave without a playlist. He was compassionate, kind, funny yet passive, bubbly and reserved. He was the glue that bonded our family together through difficult storms and joyful moments. Junior always makes time to go to church, read his Bible and Pray.
After leaving high school Junior attended the College of Art Science and Technical (CAST). While waiting on his acceptant letter he landed a job at the Beach as a Scuba Diver. After being accepted to CAST Junior moved to St Andrew, Jamaica for College where he got a two-year certification in Telecommunication. Junior being an over achiever did not stop there, he went on to the University of the West Indies where he attained his Bachelor of Science Degree.
He relocated to Montego Bay Jamaica after college and was hired by Jamaica Telephone Company (JTC). While working at JTC, he traveled regularly for business and personal reasons. During his travel, he became a father to his older son Chad. Junior later decided to advance his career and move to the USA when he was offered a job with Nationwide Communication, he thought that was an offer he could not refuse. This job would also allow him to be closer to Chad and his second child Cole who was on the way.
In 2007 Junior relocated to Orlando for work. One day while on a work assignment, he met and fell in love with his widower Charmaine. The couple dated for two years and on March 1, 2014 in an intimate setting, they got married in Davenport FL with family and close friends. The couple began their blended family with their five children.
Junior left behind his wife Charmaine, children Chad, Cole, Steven, Yanique and Nubean, his mother Juliet, father Alfred, sister Deon, brother Ian and other relatives. who will miss him dearly.
