A Legacy, A Heritage of Love and Faithfulness

 

Apostle Johnnie Manning was born the second child of the late John O Pace and Lula Mae Babb Thomas on September 25, 1948 in Jacksonville, FL. Apostle Johnnie Manning grew up in Mt. Dora, FL and educated in Eustis, FL.  Apostle Manning attended Bates Avenue School, graduating class of 1967.  After graduation, she continued to learn and excel in many other studies.

She was united in holy matrimony to the love of her life Willie Ralph Manning on June 13, 1974.  They would go on in marriage for 37 years until he preceded her in death on December 8, 2011.  Apostle Manning was a very loving Woman of God; she was dedicated and faithful to her family, community and the GOD she loved so much.  She was passionate and intentional in her walk with GOD.  She sowed and sacrificed her life to serve GOD and others.  She was loved and respected by her family and by all in whom she came in contact.

 

Ministry

Before becoming a minister, Apostle Manning faithfully served in the ministry of helps singing on the praise and worship team, cleaning the church, and working as church secretary. She served as Pastor and Apostle for 35 years over Miracle Faith Outreach, Life Tabernacle Ministries, and presently, Healing Waters World Outreach Ministries.

 

In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her brother, Paul Thomas and sister-in-law, Shirley Manning.

Apostle Johnnie Manning leaves to cherish her memory: Children: Walter Jones Jr - Mt. Dora, FL; Jonathan Manning -Tavares; Kamia Manning, and Tamisha Manning – Eustis; Willie R Irby - Zellwood; Rodger Manning; Morris Manning (Carolyn) - Zellwood; Angelette Whiley – Eustis; Shana Howard (Arnold) – Jacksonville; Sheena Hepburn, All of Florida

Siblings: Levon Hill Jones - Eustis, FL; Grace I Harrin (Richard) - Eustis, FL; Charlie Mae Bowser – Eustis, FL; Milton Thomas – Miami, FL; Shirley Wynn (Donald) - Eustis, FL

Brother and Sister-In-Laws: Alphonso Dawson; Lavora Taylor (Alexander); Phyllis Everett (Jimmie); Matilda Jones;

Other children raised by Apostle Manning: Stacey Williams, Chara Taylor, Tamara Williams, Enisha Furlow, and Janyah Manning.

Her grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends whom.
