Jacquenette Winston Holt

Jackie was born Jacquenette Winston Holt on Friday, September 12, 1958 to the union of the late Joseph and Ruby Winston.

Ms. Jackie was raised in a home where a Christian education was vital to her upbringing. She attended Catholic schools where she excelled at Our Ladies of Lourdes Elementary School, and Academy of Our Lady High School, both of  Chicago IL. Jackie  was always academically inclined,        graduated Cum Laude from her beloved Jackson State       University where she met the love of her life Lance Holt. They were wed on March 1, 1997. Jackie loved to travel and has visited Paris, Brussels, and Switzerland all before the age of 18.  Jackie enjoyed a long and successful career working for such firms as: Harza Engineering, Capitol Records, Hughes Aircraft, and most recently the Disney Corporation. Jackie will forever be remembered for her infectious smile, quick wit, and no nonsense demeanor. Her sudden and unexpected death has left an indelible mark on her family and friends. We ask that you continue to honor her memory by always being true to yourself and never going with the status quo. 

 She was preceded in death by her Husband: Lance Holt; Brothers: Ernest Lee Tucker and Larry Winston; Sister-in-law: Francine; Niece: Ta’Hani; Nephew: Kenneth Meredith; Aunts: Catherine, Josephine, Ernestine, Marie; Uncles:     Roosevelt and Cornell.

 Jackiie leaves to cherish loving and precious memories her: Brother: Joe “Bobby” Winston; Sister: Kimberly Hatch (Jim); Nieces: T’zara Winston Smith (Terrence) and Jaila Hatch; Nephews: Lawrence Flowers, Tyran Winston Smith, Tyreke Winston Smith; Step Son: Lancesell C. Woods; Step   Daughter: Stacy Willis; Special Niece: Trishelle Owens; Godmother: Ruth Foster; God Sisters: Carla Foster Crayton and Carol Foster and  A host of Great Nieces & Nephews,    Cousins, and other Sorrowing Family and Grieving Friends who will miss her dearly.
