Everett Harrison affectionately known as "Denny" and "Shorty" age 52, made his transition from this Earthly life on February 11, 2020. He was the second born son to parents Nutiline and Gladstone who received him on November 22, 1967 in Kingston, Jamaica West Indies.
Everett migrated to the United States with his family in 1971 at the age of 4 and attended elementary school in Brooklyn, NY. His teen years were spent in Hempstead, NY where he grew up playing in the Band as a Bass Cellist and as an athlete on the Wrestling and Football teams. Everett graduated from Uniondale High School in 1986 and went on to attend Tarleton State University in Texas for a short time.
Upon returning to NY in the early '90s he enlisted in the United States National Guard and then went on to work for the TWA and Jet Blue airlines for several years. He also relocated to St. Louis, Missouri where he welcomed sons Seth Harrison in 1996 and Sage Harrison in 1999.
Everett went on to study at National Academy of Sports Medicine and was self employed as a Certified Personal Trainer until he moved to Florida when was faced with his own health challenges.
He enjoyed music, making his family and friends smile as well watching his favorite sports teams the NY Jets, the Knicks and the NY Mets whenever he could. A strong believer in "giving back" he also participated in the Annual National Kidney Foundation Walks to raise awareness about Kidney Disease.
Our beloved Denny is survived by his Mother Nutiline, his Father Gladstone, his Brother Garfield "Gary", his Sister Tiesha, and his beloved Sons Seth and Sage. He will also be cherished by his Aunt Elaine, Uncles, His Nephews, Nieces, Beloved Cousins and Friends.
