“Start describing the ocean and you're getting closer to describing Pisces. Words like vast, deep, powerful, ever-changing come to mind perhaps." ~ Genevieve Vierling
Elizabeth Wilson, affectionately known as Lizz, was born on March 6,1978, to Deborah Wilson in Denver, Colorado. She passed away on July 18th, 2024 after being diagnosed with Pneumonia earlier that month. Lizz completed her primary education at George Washington High School in Denver, CO, she participated in the 1993 Junior Olympics for Running andenjoyed using running as a way release her frustrations she enjoyed being active/outdoor activities which led her to meet her high school sweetheart Shima Terna and around 1995 and had their first child Dayquan Jack Terna in 1997 she went on to finish High school and a couple years later she gave birth to her second daughter, Kadedra Marie Terna in 2000, Lizz continued to raise her children in Denver, CO over the next decade as she pushed her son Dayquan Ternato attend college as he would be a First Generation and she successfully helped him get into Adams State in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 2017, as she loved everything Denver stood for. But Lizz was a Pisces, she had a natural calling to the sea. She always believed she was a mermaid in her past life, she always told her daughter about wanting to live by the beach and being able to see the ocean whenever she wanted she was tired of the snow. One cold snowy night in 2018 Lizz decided to put those words to action and took her and her daughter and hauled in her tiny car to bright and sunny Orlando, Florida! She loved going to the beach whether it was with friends or as she liked to call it, “solo dolo” she was a true mermaid at heart and nothing could contain her love for the sea, she loved collecting sea shells and crafting with them! Lizz loved to create and gift others. She was a true artist whether it came to photo boxes, posters or decorating a room she had the best sense of style and direction, she was always a friend you could count on and she never judged you as she had been through her fair share of life. She was a woman full of love and just wanting the best for others she would do anything tomake you feel special. Around July 4th 224 Lizz started to come down with what she thought was a common cold but being the fighter she was didn’t think much of it at first as time passed her cough didn’t go away and she went to the hospital to receive treatment, after feeling a bit better after a week in the hospital, Lizz being the hustler we all knew her as decided it would be best to continue her healing journey at home so she could return to work asap, unfortunately a few days later she started feeling worse and re checked herself back into the hospital on July17th, unfortunately she lost her fight against pneumonia during the night of the 18th with her daughter by her side. Lizz fought until the end. The doctors don’t know how she made it her last month. She was truly a strong woman. Lizz leaves to cherish her memories, her beloved children, Kadedra Marie Terna & Dayquan Jack Terna, her siblings RJ & BJ , her loving Aunt Carol, her best friend Princess Rameriz and ALL of her server family whether it was at Sam’sNO.3 Dinner, Amway, or On The Border just to name a few places she touched her wings she just wanted all of us to be happy and now she can finally be at peace and take care of herself up there… go on Lizz go be free with the mermaids and fish in the sea you’ve worked hard enough my lovely Pisces mother.
