Earnest Babbs

Earnest Babbs was born on October 26,1945, in Coffee County, GA, to Johnnie Pope Babbs and
Annie Bell Babbs, 1232 S. Grove Street, Eustis, FL 32726.

He attended Bates Avenue High School in Eustis, FL,
where he played football and enjoyed woodworking.

Earnest joined the U.S. Army during his teenage
years, served in Vietnam, and returned home with an
honorable discharge. We would like to take this time to
thank him for serving the USA.

Earnest worked in construction until he had to retire
due to illness.

He was preceded in death by: siblings, Earl Richardson,
Addie Lou Wiggins, John L. Babbs, Cora Lee Williams,
and Carrie Jean Babbs; and parents, Annie Bell Babbs
and Johnnie Pope Babbs.

Siblings left to mourn are Elzie Babbs, Eleazer Hicks
Fuller, Ann McIntyre Carter, Linda Joyce Babbs, and
Ilene Frances Babbs.
