Dunyel Harris was born on December 30, 1968, to the late Willie E. Lowe and Ethel V. Lowe. From an early age, she accepted Christ and lived a life that reflected her deep faith, kindness, and generosity. She believed in loving without judgment, praying for others without hesitation, and living each day with joy.
In 2003, she married the love of her life, Ronald Harris Sr. Together they built a strong and loving unbreakable bond rooted in faith, unity, and devotion—whether worshiping at church, enjoying family gatherings, or simply taking quiet drives together. Their love was a
visible testimony to God’s design for marriage.
Dunyel was a faithful member of Higher Purpose Deliverance Center under Pastor Supt. Ricky Rose, serving on multiple auxiliaries with passion and grace. She was also active in her community—organizing Kidney Walks, speaking at church engagements, supporting her children’s activities, and encouraging all who crossed her path. She loved deeply and shared life’s moments side by side with Ronnie. Known as a wife, mother, sister, grandma/GG, and auntie, she filled every role with love and laughter.
On August 3, 2025, Dunyel entered eternal rest, leaving behind a legacy of faith, love, and joy. She is survived by her devoted husband, Ronald Harris Sr.; her 6 children, Ronald N., Shavece (Maurice), Seronia, Shanavia, Ronald Jr., and Ja’Quan; her 11 grandchildren; Shamariya, Shaniyah, Xálen, Saniyla, Skyla, Dash, A’Naila, Brianna, Isabella, Carter, Rania; her 7 Siblings: Willie Jr., Eric , Derrick, Tomeche, Shawn, Frances (Godsister), Deidra (predeceased) and Darrius (predeceased); her nieces; nephews; cousins; god-children; extended family; church family; and many dear friends.
Her love was boundless, her faith unshakable, and her spirit will continue to shine in the hearts of those she touched.
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.” — 2 Timothy 4:7
