Damesha Williams Obituary

Damesha Valandria Jean Williams, affectionately known as Mesha, was born on September 17, 1998, in Orlando, Florida, to Damion Williams Sr. and the late Vontressa Johnson. From the very beginning, Mesha’s life was marked by warmth, intelligence, faith, and a deep love for those around her.

Although she spent most of her life in the metropolitan Orlando area, Mesha, her siblings, and her mother made Gainesville, Florida their home from 2011 to 2016. During those formative years, she attended Fort Clarke Middle School and Buchholz High School, where she excelled both academically and athletically. A gifted student and standout basketball player, Mesha carried herself with quiet determination and a natural grace that made her admired by teachers, coaches, and peers alike.

Upon returning to Orlando in 2016, Mesha enrolled at Jones High School, graduating with high honors in 2017. Her pursuit of excellence continued as she earned her associate’s degree in business from Valencia College. Combining her eye for fashion, keen attention to detail, and natural business instincts, Mesha became a successful entrepreneur in the world of ecommerce—building her brand with creativity, confidence, and dedication.

Mesha’s life was rich with passions and simple joys. She loved playing basketball, drawing, and participating in lively family game nights. She enjoyed taking pictures that captured both the beauty around her and the essence of the people she loved. A deep thinker with a curious mind, she found comfort and purpose in reading and studying the Bible.

Above all, Mesha was a devout Christian whose faith guided every aspect of her life. She loved the Lord wholeheartedly and unapologetically. Her compassion and generosity were seen in her acts of service—toward the less fortunate and toward those she cherished most. Mesha had a playful spirit and a bright sense of humor, always able to find laughter even in difficult moments. Yet she was also strong and grounded, unafraid to set boundaries and protect her peace. Her inquisitive nature and desire to understand the world made her a thoughtful and insightful presence to everyone who knew her.

On Monday, November 24, 2025, Mesha was called home to be with the Lord. Though her earthly journey has ended far too soon, the love she gave, the joy she spread, and the faith she lived so boldly will continue to shine in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

Mesha was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed. May her legacy of kindness, strength, and unwavering faith continue to inspire those she leaves behind.

She was survived by her father, Damion Williams Sr.; sisters, Daneisha Simon and Dasianay Williams; brothers, Damion Williams Jr., Damarrian Johnson-Bryant, Ike Harper, Isaiah Wright, Aveion Williams, and Elijah Taylor; nephew, Daelan Williams; niece, Khylie Williams; grandmother, Melanie Johnson-St. Jean (Kenneth); grandfather, Reginald Johnson, Sr.; great-grandfather, Thomas Smith; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and loved ones.
