Daisy Bruton

Daisy Mae Bruton, 72, passed away on December
23, 2021, in Orlando, FL. On October 15, 1949,
she was born in Albany, Georgia, to Wille Lee, Sr.,
and Ora Pearl Mills. Daisy moved to Central Florida
when she was ten years old. She graduated from
Charles R. Drew in Oakland, FL, in 1968. After high
school, Daisy attended vocational school, where she
received her nursing assistant certification before
getting married. She started each day with a cup of
coffee, and she enjoyed shopping and gardening.
She was passionate about sports, and she was a
die-hard Tampa Buccaneers and Buffalo Bills Fan.
Anyone that knows her knows not to call her during
a game. She’ll call you back. Daisy often socialized
with her sons and their friends, and everyone loved
being around her. Not only did she love her two
sons, but her eyes would light up, and she would be
smiling whenever she was around her grandboys.
She never missed a special moment or milestone in
Miles or Bryce’s lives.
Daisy is survived by her sons, Phillip (Stacey) of
Apopka, FL and Patrick (Stacey) of Orlando, FL; her
siblings Willie Lee Mills, Jr. (Jean), Jack Mills (Denise),
Earnest Mills, Roger Mills, Lurie Mills, Marie Burkes,
and Mattie Mills; her precious grandchildren Miles
and Bryce; and many of her beloved nieces and
nephews and other relatives. Daisy was preceded in
death by her parents, Wille Lee, Sr., and Ora Pearl
Mills, siblings Ora Lee Pace, Carrie Allen, Christine
Mills, Johnny Lee Mills, and Henry Mills.
She will forever be missed.
