Arthur Taylor was born on June 6, 1964, in Orlando,
Florida, to Leola Taylor-Hatten and father Clifford J. McKenzie.
He lived in Apopka, Florida, and attended Wheatley Elementary
School, Apopka Junior High, and graduating from Apopka High
School in 1982.
“Daryl,” “Dee,” “Art,” or “D-Barber,” as he was fondly known by
many, worked in H&A after high school, later deciding to become
a barber, which field he worked in for many years.
Daryl loved people, and no one was a stranger to him. He would
approach anyone and strike up a conversation.
Daryl passed away on January 30, 2021.
He is survived by: his mother, Leola Taylor-Hatten; stepfather,
Roscoe Hatten; daughter, Brittany D. Taylor; grandchildren,
Jayden L. Taylor, Layla J. Martin, and James K. Singletary;
brothers, Dwayne E. Taylor, Vincent L. Taylor, who was like a
brother, Brian K. Hatten, Eric Hatten, and Darren (Suzette)
Wilson; sisters, Shundrika Hatten and Precious Hatten; aunt,
Leona Taylor; and many, many cousins and friends
