A Wonderful Celebration of Life Ann Marie Toney was born on November 28, 1955, to the late Erick Washington and Frances BrowningWashington in Queens, New York. Ann was part of a loving family. Ann always was surrounded by many friends and family whom she enjoyed very much. As a young girl, Ann attenended elementary and middle school in Queens, New York, and graduated from Andrew Jackson High School in Cambria Heights, New York. She attended Lutheran Church of the Redeemer on 204th Street in New York. Ann was always active and was a part of the girl scouts at Trinity Lutheran Church in New York. In 1979, Ann relocated with her family from Queens, New York, to Orlando, Florida, where she resided until her demise on Thursday evening on December 8, 2022. After moving to Florida, Ann began to show interest in making hand-made costume jewelry, body butter and scrubs, and designing clothes. She built a successful business called Imani Enterprises. Her mother and father, Frances Browning-Washington and Erick Washington, predeceased her. Although Ann will be truly missed by her close friends, those cherishing the fondest memories will be her loving family: husband of 41 years, James Toney of Winter Haven, Florida; brother, William (Billie) Washington of Orlando, Florida; sister/friend of sixty-two years, Constance V. Oquaye-King of Silver Spring, Maryland, and Nii Nortey Kwabla OquayeGodson of Valley Stream, New York; loving daughter, Brittani Smith (Donta) of Apopka, Florida; son, Bryan Toney (Lucretia) of Orlando, Florida; stepdaughter, Regina Moran (Edwin) of Winter Haven, Florida; beautiful grandchildren, Victoria Smith, Leilani Smith, and Donta Smith, Jr., of Apopka, Florida, Aundrea Parks (Phillip) of Orlando, Florida, and Joshua Williams of Winter Haven, Florida; one loving niece, Minnie Lee (Starr) Washington of Orlando, Florida; as well as a host of cousins, extended family members, and sorrowing friends.
