Althia was born in Good Hope District, Clarendon,
Jamaica. She went to Good Hope Basic School and later
transferred to Kettits Primary School, and then to Kettits
High School. She attended a trade college for bartending.
Althia moved to Ocho Rios Jamaica, and started working
in security, where she remained for eight years. She later
relocated to the United States in 2018, where she found the
love of her life, Mr. William Paige, in Orlando, Florida, and
to their union, one beautiful baby girl was born.
Althia was preceded in death by many uncles and cousins, as
well as great-grandparents, Andy Wallace and Jane Wallace.
Althia “Nicke” leaves to cherish her loving memories: parents,
Birdie Small and William Wallace; husband, William Paige;
daughter, Garcia Paige; sisters, Eleacea and Maevonte Wallace,
both of Apopka, and Jane and Nicky Wallace, both of Jamaica;
brothers, Phillip Wallace of Jamaica, Kemroy Wallace of
Apopka, and Courtney Wallace of Orlando; grandparent,
Rachel Small of Jamaica; along with a host of uncles, aunts,
cousins, and other sorrowing friends.
Althia had a unique way of making you laugh. She loved
to sing and truly was a true born soldier. She loved to cook
and take pictures to show off her blessed hands. Nicke was
no doubt a family-oriented woman of God. God was first in
her life, and everything else was second. Althia was truly a
woman of faith, family, and fellowship.
