Reflections of Life
Alaric Joyner, Sr., was born January 12, 1964, in
Hampton, Virginia, to Georgia Corbin and Fred Joyner, Jr.
Alaric received his high school diploma from the Wymore Career
Education Center. He also completed the Upward Bound Program
at Rollins College.
He wed his beloved wife, Andrea Joyner, on June 3, 1994. He
departed this earthly life for his heavenly home on February 7,
2021.
Survived by: his beloved and devoted wife, Andrea Joyner;
children – three sons, Laggarius Marshall, Quinton Marshall, and
Alaric Joyner, Jr.; three daughters, Lashae Joyner-Connor, Brianna
Joyner, and Genesis Rhymes; two sisters, Jackie Joyner-Holley
and Cynthia Joyner; one brother, James Smiley; 11 grandchildren,
Carlos Connor III, Robyn Connor, Kamryn Connor, Quinton
Marshall, Jr., Aakree Marshall, Makyla Marshall, Damari Hall,
Laggarius Marshall, Jr., Josiah Marshall, Tyheim Pearson, and
Isaiah London; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving
family, and grieving friends.
