Clara Downing Obituary

Mother Clara Downing was born on March 3, 1928 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Jeanette and Frank Durant.

Clara was united in holy matrimony to Mr. Johnny Downing Sr. To this union one child was born and a beautiful blended family was created of ten. Mother Downing served on the Mother’s Board at New Life Pentecostal Church for more than ten years.

Clara leaves to cherish his memories Sons: Robert Durant (Aillen), Henry Durant (Loretta), Roger Rubin (Deceased), Willie Rubin Margaret), Willie Downing (Jenifer), Johnny Downing Jr. (Carmen); Daughters: Shirley Dixon (Christopher) and Celia Robinson (Deceased) ; Special Cousin Whom is dear to her heart: Mrs. Margaret Durant Thomas (Wallace) of Jacksonville, FL; and a host of other Loving Family and Grieving Friends.
